We can provide creative graphics services for originating your design or you can create and send your own, simply send your artwork by email or post as a vector .pdf or as a 350 pixel per inch .jpg file. Artwork can range from precise computer generated designs, texts, lettering and names lists, to pen and ink hand produced drawings, coats of arms, monochrome and full four colour process prints from photographs, as well as historical texts. The images can be printed using spot colours or 4 colour process - the latter being the best for paintings and photographic work. We can also personalise mugs with individual names and put 22 carat gold banding on the rims of mugs.

There is more information about this further down the page.
Additions and print positions for mugs
Other options apart from the print on the outside of the mugs include:
Printing inside mug base
Printing strap line on the mug inside top rim
Printing on the handle
Printing on the mug underside base (back stamp)
22ct gold edge banding on the top rim
The addition of an historical or explanatory text to the reverse or the base of the mug is the perfect way to perpetuate the memory of an event or anniversary.

If the mug artwork design is produced by an artist the addition of a backstamp print on the mug base gives that extra professional look and also promotes the name and reputation.

SPOT COLOUR MIXING
All ceramic enamel spot colours are specially mixed and matched as closely as possible to colour samples or Pantone spot colour references.
The glass enamels used for ceramic printing on mugs are based on metal oxides in a glassy matrix and are not organic dyes as like paper printing inks.
The main advantage of these glass enamels is that the colours never fade, and they are microwave and dishwasher proof.
Ceramic enamel printing is kiln fired to 850˚C, and is colour fade resistant,
and durable.
